ExteriorExterior photographs of Ron and Joyce's house near Kusadasi.
Ron and Joyce are part of the British community living in Kusadasi. Unfortunately they have to downsize, and are hoping to move into an apartment in Kusadasi itself. For this reason an exceptional 4 storey house is now on the market for sale. The site residents are a good mix of Brits, Irish, other Europeans and Turkish families, and there are no land title problems, outstanding debts, or other sale impediments. All white goods are included, with 5 year guarantees, and the excellent quality furniture and furnishings can be purchased separately.
The property is semi-detached and has low maintenance gardens or terraces on three sides. The house is configured as a three storey house with a separate apartment on the ground floor. It was built as a family house with a granny flat below:
The granny flat is a good sized 2 bed-roomed, self contained, apartment on the ground floor with a large kitchen/dining/lounge, and separate bathroom with jacuzzi. There are separate front and rear entrances, plus a large covered veranda to the rear of the building. A satellite feed gives access to UK television programs via Nile-Sat.
The upper three stories offer luxurious accommodation comprising of a three bed-roomed house, with two bathrooms, a large fitted kitchen, dining area and lounge. all floors have patio balconies, with room to party on the lower floor balcony, and a very large, private rooftop terrace, partly covered to provide shade in summer. All bedrooms have their own terraced balconies.
The views from the top terrace are spectacular, with the local town of Davutlar, with its cafes, restaurants and super-markets to the left (south), the beautiful Aegean Sea to the west, and the coastline continuing to Kusadasi on the right (north). Most of the lower terraces have sea views.
The beach is less than a mile away and it is one of the best beaches in this part on Turkey; it joins Kusadasi and the Milipark, providing an almost un-interrupted swathe of clean sand and beach facilities.
One of Turkey's premier national parks (Milipark) with the finest varieties of widlife to be found anywhere in Europe, is 15 miles to the south. Turkey's finest archaeological site (Efesus) is a short distance north of Kusadasi. On a clear day one can watch the cars driving along the roads of Samos, a Greek island in the Aegean Sea. Ferries travel between Kusadasi and Samos on a regular basis.
This is a very nice house, suitable for a large family, and having all modern conveniences, including a frequent bus service passing by at the bottom of the road. The market town of Davutlar is 1.5 miles away, Kusadasi is 10 miles away, and there are several other towns and villages within a 15 mile radius of the house.
